For beta users, WhatsApp has unveiled a new function. A message sent by any participant can be removed for everyone by group administrators using this capability.

A new feature is currently being rolled out for some beta testers on the Meta-owned instant messaging service WhatsApp. The function is known as Admin Delete. According to a WABetaInfo report, WhatsApp is distributing the Admin Delete capability to a subset of its Android beta customers using version 2.22.17.12. The function aids group administrators in managing the discussion taking place in a WhatsApp group. Recall that the functionality has been under development since it was first detected last year. It is now accessible to a small group of beta users.

A message sent by any participant can be removed for everyone by group administrators using this capability. Admins will see the “delete for everyone” option when pressing and holding a message as soon as the capability is available. Additionally, everyone who participated may see that the administrator erased a message for everyone. The article predicts that in the upcoming days, more users will have access to the Admin Delete feature.

Additional WhatsApp features are being created

Furthermore, the WhatsApp beta for iOS now includes a feature that WABetaInfo first identified. Individuals will be able to read the names of users who were a part of a WhatsApp group but have since left the group thanks to a feature called “previous participants” that is available. Users will be able to view who has left a group in the past 60 days in a new section that may be present in the group details as the feature is made accessible to WhatsApp’s stable version.

The magazine has also learned about the Quick Reply option in addition to this. In essence, the feature enables users to swiftly reply to a message without opening the specific chat by using the notification card itself. Download the most recent version of WhatsApp for Windows from the Microsoft Store if you wish to use this feature. Additionally, the platform has updated the WhatsApp beta for Android to fix the sticker glitch.
