The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) launched a short code 9999 on Friday, allowing mobile subscribers to give to the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund 2022.

Users can donate Rs. 10 to the Flood Relief Fund by texting “fund” to the number 9999. PTA announcement said that any telecom company that got a donation would tell the National Disaster Management Authority about it.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called on the nation, expatriates, philanthropists, and charitable organisations to come together to help the beleaguered people.
The federal government established the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund 2022 earlier this month, with the goal of supplementing ongoing financial support efforts for flood victims. Cash aid for flood victims can be deposited in Flood Relief Fund Account No. ‘G-12164.’
