On Wednesday, a man apparently dies of ‘pleasure’ after the Supreme Court rules in his favour in a five-year-old property dispute lawsuit. In this case, Umar Ali purchased land in Battagram, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. His opponents, though, staked a claim to the land.
In 2017, he filed an appeal in the Supreme Court against his opponents’ motion. Despite the fact that he had to wait nearly five years, the petition was finally granted for hearing. On Wednesday, a two-member bench of the Supreme Court led by Justice Ijazul Ahsan heard the case.
As the trial came to an end and Ali was found not guilty, he had a heart attack, which was likely caused by happiness. Before being taken to the Polyclinic Hospital, the victim was first treated at the court. However, he was unable to recover and was confirmed dead by physicians.
