Pakistan Women's Football Scores its Biggest Victory

On Tuesday, Pakistan’s women’s football team beat Maldives 7-0 in their last SAFF Women’s Cup game. It was their biggest win ever and an excellent way to end the tournament. Nadia Khan scored four goals for the Greens. She was the first Pakistani woman to achieve four goals in a women’s football international match.

Pakistan took the lead in the 39th minute when Rameen Fareed scored from 25m to open the team’s account. In the 48th minute, Khadija Kazmi scored a penalty spot to make Pakistan’s lead even more significant.

Then it was Nadia’s turn to show off what she could do. The Pakistani player in the UK was the best because she controlled the ball so well and had such excellent skills that she scored four goals in a row.

She scored in the 53rd, 78th, and 84th minutes to get her hat trick. Then, in the 89th minute, she scored again to reach her fourth goal.

She scored four goals in the game, making her the first Pakistani to do so. With this one game, she joined Hajra Khan and Malika e Noor as the Pakistani players with the most international goals.

In extra time, Anmol Heera scored another goal for Pakistan, scoring 7-0. With this win, Pakistan’s run in the SAFF Women’s Cup, 2022, came to a successful end.

The team lost to Bangladesh and India before, which kept them from making it to the semi-finals. It’s important to note that this was Pakistan’s first international competition since 2014.
