A lot of people on social media have shared videos on TikTok that talk about PM Shehbaz Sharif’s trip to Samarkand, Uzbekistan, for the SCO Summit. This video is a collection of TikTokers talking about what Shehbaz Sharif did and who he met at the summit. All of these TikTokers seem to have a lot of fans.
Some people on Twitter say that these TikTokers are paid to do a campaign for Shehbaz Sharif on behalf of the PMLN media cell. A user of Twitter pointed out that everyone on TikTok has posted the same kind of praise for Shehbaz Sharif. Since yesterday, the video has been shared a lot on social media.
Ticktoker @nadeemmubarakofficial has exposed that the government had approached him alongside other fellow TikTokers and offered Rs 50,000 per TikTok video to advertise PM Shehbaz Sharif’s Uzbekistan visit.
People on the Internet are wondering why the government needs to use TikTokers to run a campaign. Others thought that the TikTok campaign showed that PM Shehbaz Sharif’s trip to the SCO summit was a failure. Some people have said that the government’s advertising campaigns for Shehbaz Sharif are a waste of money. Shehbaz Sharif’s party, PMLN, has been accused of running a paid campaign on TikTok for him.
Earlier, people on Twitter made fun of PMLN by saying that the SCO summit in Uzbekistan was all about Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The Pakistan Muslim League official Nawaz’s Twitter account posted a picture of Shehbaz Sharif standing with world leaders like Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey and Vladimir Putin of Russia. Shehbaz Sharif was supposed to get a warm welcome from world leaders at the SCO summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. This was said by the party in charge of the coalition government.
“After four long years, Pakistan finally has a leader who is respected all over the world,” the PMLN’s official Twitter account said. A few hours later, people on social media shared the video where the picture of Shehbaz Sharif came from. The video showed leaders going to Uzbek food stands set up at the summit and trying out traditional dishes. Shehbaz Sharif was at the back of the group when the video was taken.
