The Slackistan creator was married to Pakistani-American actress Aisha Linnea Akhtar. After their divorce, Aima Baig announced her engagement to Shigri in 2022. Two years later, Taloulah Mair says that Baig cheated on Shigri with filmmaker Qes Ahmed.
Shigri has sworn off love after all she’s been through. The 34-year-old actor said in his podcast, Nothing Happens Here, that he’s done with relationships.
In Episode 5 of the podcast, Shigri’s friends and co-hosts were discussing weddings when they said, “Let’s not talk about weddings with Shigri.” The actor said, “Yes.” Too many! I’m done.”
“I’ve gone through the wringer several times,” he said. I’ve lived numerous lifetimes in terms of relationships. I’m done. The podcast came out a week before Baig broke up with Shigri and she was said to have cheated on him.
While Baig is accused of cheating, Shigri is accused of cheating on his ex-wife. Ex-wife Linnea responded to a comment asking why she has her ex-husband’s photos on Instagram.
Why would I erase a huge chunk of my life? She stated that contrary to popular belief, nobody cheated and he didn’t betray me.
