England have fallen three runs short as Pakistan levelled the seven-match T20 series at 2-2 in Karachi.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 166 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs and had given England a target of 167 runs to win. Chasing the target, England was bowled out for 163 runs in 19.2 overs.

Haris Rauf was adjudged the man of the match for his brilliant bowling, taking two wickets in the 18th over at a time when the match was almost in England’s hands, and England’s Liam Dawson was beating the Pakistani bowlers well.

Mohammad Rizwan scored 88 runs, and Babar Azam scored 36 runs from Pakistan. Mohammad Nawaz and Haris Rauf got 3, 3, Hasnain got two, and Mohammad Wasim got one.

In the fourth match, Hyder Ali was declared unfit, Shahnawaz Durmani was dropped from the team, and Asif Ali and Naseem Shah returned to the team.

The seven-match series has been tied 2-2, while the remaining three matches will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
