The Regional Corporate Tax Office Lahore went to the head office of the clothing brand Outfitters in Lahore to get the records needed to finish the company’s audit.
Senior members of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) said I did the raid with the Commissioner Audit-III Corporate Tax Office in Lahore’s permission.
Zulqarnain Ali Shaheen Haral, a BS-20 officer of the Inland Revenue Service who works as a Commissioner-IR (Audit-III) at the Corporate Tax Office in Lahore and is the person in charge of the case, permitted the raid.
Chose Outfitters for an audit, but they did not follow the department’s notices about giving the required record. During the ongoing audit, the unit did not provide the documents needed for the audit.
A group from the Regional Corporate Tax Office in Lahore found and took computers, laptops, and other records, such as ledgers of the unit’s sales and purchases.
