Dollar Keeps Winning Against the PKR

The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) said that the closing price on the interbank market was Rs220, which was higher than the last trading session's closing price of Rs219.50.

On Wednesday, following a recent surge in value, the United States dollar strengthened its position relative to the Pakistani rupee.

According to the available information, the value of the national currency decreased against the United States Dollar by 79 paisa, which corresponds to an exchange rate of approximately Rs220.5.

According to the statistics provided by Pakistan’s central bank, the value of the rupee at the market closing on Tuesday was Rs219.71.

Nevertheless, despite the decline, the rupee has clawed back a total of Rs19.44 against the dollar after reaching an all-time low of Rs239.94.
