The top food delivery service in Pakistan, foodpanda, has teamed up with Find My Doctor (FMD) to offer vital medical services to its users in an effort to protect their health and safety. To all Foodpanda users, the agreement will provide free online doctor consultations, reduced lab testing costs, and medication delivery services.
Muntaqa Peracha, managing director of foodpanda Pakistan, claims that “Since our riders are the heart of our company, we see it as our duty to look out for their wellbeing, especially in these trying times. With the help of this collaboration, our passengers will have cheaper access to high-quality healthcare services, making it simpler for them to maintain their safety and health.”
As part of the collaboration, FMD will offer free WhatsApp or application-based doctor consultations with verified general practitioners who are registered with the Pakistan Medical Commission. Also, all Foodpanda users will get a 40% reduction on the regular lab testing costs charged by reputable, registered labs that follow ISO9001 standards and a 15% discount on all Karachi-wide pharmaceutical deliveries when using certain promotional codes.
Find My Doctor’s CEO, Saad Wahab Siddiqui, said: “We are dedicated to making it simpler for people to obtain quality healthcare because we feel that it is a fundamental right. By this collaboration, we want to provide foodpanda users the power to take charge of their health and wellbeing.”
While medication delivery and lab testing services will be available from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, seven days a week, online consultation services will be offered from 9:00 am to 12:00 midnight. FMD will safeguard patient data confidentiality for all patients.
To achieve maximum awareness, foodpanda will also advertise Find My Doctor services for riders on all internal communication channels.
