Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of Jazz, was presented with the Excellence Award at the BIZNET Diversity and Inclusion Recognition Awards ceremony by Pakistani President Dr. Arif Alvi. The celebration honoured those who have worked to create a society that is more inclusive and equal.
Jazz’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) activities, particularly its endeavours to empower women through digital platforms, were praised by President Alvi. He emphasised the value of financial inclusion for women in order to make them productive workers and supported IT help for women-owned business ventures.
Changing Hub and Women Business Network held BIZNET2023, which included the theme “Supporting Diversity, Inclusion, and Pakistan Startups,” in cooperation with other business organisations and industry experts.
BIZNET seeks to recognise prosperous start-ups in Pakistan and to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among young business minds. The event’s main theme is the crucial contribution of entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity to Pakistan’s economic progress.
President Alvi commended groups for their efforts in bringing about positive change and thanked organisers for their ambitious plan to progress women in the workforce in the nation.
Jazz has made enormous strides in encouraging diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, and the President of Pakistan’s acknowledgement of those efforts is a monument to that.
