In terms of the number of freelancers and yearly revenue generated, Pakistan has one of the top five freelancing ecosystems in the world. These gifted people alone contributed close to $400 million to the national economy in fiscal year 2022, or almost 15% of Pakistan’s overall ICT exports, which totaled $2.62 billion during the same year. PAFLA sees the Future of Work conference as a platform to foster future growth prospects for entrepreneurs, influencers, and freelancers alike.
