Pakistan Freelancers Association Set to Host Landmark Conference in Karachi

The Future of Work (FoW): Collaborating with Freelancers, Influencers, and Entrepreneurs for Success in the Digital Age,” is being excitedly announced by the Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA), which represents over three million freelancers in the nation. This historic event, which will take place on June 17, 2023, in Karachi, intends to raise awareness of the outstanding contributions made by the local free-lance community to the national exchequer and the economy while promoting supportive policies in the next budget.

In terms of the number of freelancers and yearly revenue generated, Pakistan has one of the top five freelancing ecosystems in the world. These gifted people alone contributed close to $400 million to the national economy in fiscal year 2022, or almost 15% of Pakistan’s overall ICT exports, which totaled $2.62 billion during the same year. PAFLA sees the Future of Work conference as a platform to foster future growth prospects for entrepreneurs, influencers, and freelancers alike. PAFLA is a steadfast supporter and developer of this growing community. The conference offers free registration to all interested parties in an effort to promote widespread attendance.

The event will feature insightful talks by well-known figures from a variety of professions, interesting presentations, enlightening panel discussions, fireside chats, and helpful networking opportunities. The youngest MOS and CCNA professionals, Ayesha and Areesh Fatima, Salman Noman, the first YouTuber from Pakistan to obtain the Diamond Play button, and Ayesha Mubarak Ali, a multimedia visual tech artist who was just included on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list, are among the notable invitees.

According to Ibrahim Amin, Chairman & Co-Founder of PAFLA, “Pakistan’s freelancer community continues to overcome significant challenges and elevate the nation’s stature as a leading technology-based export power.” This emphasises the freelancer community’s critical contribution to enhancing Pakistan’s reputation as a global technology hub. We take great delight in giving these aspiring professionals the tools and support they need to advance and experience unheard-of success.

The Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list’s newest member, the well-known artist Ayesha Mubarak Ali, complimented PAFLA’s initiatives and said that Pakistan is full of bright people who constantly provide high-quality goods and services despite scarce resources. It is noteworthy that PAFLA took the initiative to promote the freelancing community through the Future of Work conference by highlighting their accomplishments.

In addition to networking possibilities, the Future of Work conference by PAFLA will feature a fascinating musical performance, mind-blowing acts, and engaging quizzes with a chance to win smartphones.
