Zong 4G and PAGE Unite to Empower Girls' Education in Pakistan

In partnership with the prestigious group PAGE (Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education), Zong 4G, the renowned telecom leader in Pakistan, has started an amazing initiative to promote girls’ education. On June 21st, in a formal ceremony that was attended by important representatives from both Zong 4G and PAGE, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed, cementing this historic alliance.

This strategic partnership’s main goal is to transform girls’ education in Pakistan and usher in a time of gender equity and empowerment. Zong 4G and PAGE will work together to implement a wide range of initiatives aimed at attaining this common objective. The provision of internet devices in remote locations with limited access, extensive career training initiatives, rehabilitation projects for schools affected by devastating floods, and skill-building workshops in women’s vocational centres are just a few of these endeavours.

Unquestionably, Zong 4G deserves praise for its unwavering commitment to helping PAGE achieve its goal of closing the gender achievement gap in education. The official Zong 4G spokesperson exclaimed, “Education is the bedrock of progress, and at Zong 4G, we firmly believe in its power. ” This statement reflected his unbridled joy for this revolutionary cooperation. We are steadfastly committed to empowering girls and guaranteeing equal access to high-quality education through our partnership with PAGE.

Zong-Page-Partnership

This historic partnership between Zong 4G and PAGE expands on their prior productive alliances, which included the creation of an autonomous Digital Lab in the picturesque area of Pir Chinasi, Azad Jammu & Kashmir. This cutting-edge Lab works largely within an all-girls school and also as a training ground for local women. The Digital Lab was established in December 2022 and has since become a ray of hope for the underdeveloped, isolated area of its location that lacks even the most basic infrastructure, including safe highways. It has aided in the education and empowerment of numerous girls and women from Pir Chinasi’s remote regions by offering essential resources and opportunities.

This strategic alliance is proof of Zong 4G and PAGE’s shared goals and steadfast dedication to creating a better future for girls’ education in Pakistan. Both organisations want to have a lasting impact on the lives of girls and young women all around the country by combining their resources, knowledge, and unwavering resolve. They hope to dismantle barriers, unleash potential, and open the door for a revolutionary path towards a more just and affluent society with the help of this exceptional collaboration.
