PTCL and DynaSys Join Forces for IoT and Satellite Innovation

Two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed by Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and DynaSys Networks (DynaSys) during a ceremony held at the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) in Rawalpindi. Aamer Ejaz, Group Vice President of Carrier Services at PTCL & Ufone 4G, and Ali Akhtar, Founder and CEO of DynaSys Networks, served as the event’s chairs. Senior representatives from both companies as well as NASTP leadership were also present.

The first MoU provides the technical foundation for connecting the Internet of Things (IoT) platform and end-user devices from DynaSys with the cloud and cybersecurity infrastructure from PTCL, as well as wired and wireless transmission networks. This partnership seeks to provide clients throughout Pakistan with an innovative, fully integrated IoT service. Both firms have the same goal of dominating the Pakistani IoT service market with one million active end-user subscriptions.

Aamer Ejaz, Group Vice President of Carrier Services at PTCL & Ufone 4G, expressed his pleasure for the collaboration and emphasized PTCL’s dedication to bridging the digital divide and improving people’s lifestyles, especially in remote places, with cutting-edge technologies. He stressed how this partnership will considerably increase commercial activity and Pakistan’s overall economic prosperity.

DynaSys Networks founder and CEO Ali Akhtar welcomed the collaboration as a significant step toward Pakistan’s IoT potential. He stressed their collaborative efforts to introduce the first comprehensive Internet of Things (IoT) service in Pakistan as well as their aspirations in the satellite communications market, where they hope to rule this industry in Pakistan and increase their presence in the wider area.

The second MoU combines PTCL’s substantial satellite infrastructure and long experience of satellite services in Pakistan with DynaSys’ expertise in satellite communications. Both businesses hope to grow their market share in the area and become Pakistan’s top integrators and service providers of satellite communications equipment through this partnership. The potential of this alliance to develop IoT and satellite communication capabilities in Pakistan and elsewhere is enormous.
