Ayesha Chundrigar Stands Up Against Defamation of ACF Animal Rescue

Ayesha Chundrigar, the brilliant founder of ACF Animal Rescue, just delivered a statement in response to Sadia Ghori’s false, slanderous, and defamatory allegations against the organization. It’s crucial to remember that the court earlier dismissed Ghori’s unfounded case (attached ruling) because crucial information was withheld and no legal infractions were present.

The legal defense of ACF Animal Rescue has categorically declared that these unjustified accusations on the organization’s integrity are seriously damaging its reputation. Despite the false claims making the rounds, it’s critical to stress that ACF has not broken any laws, as determined by a court of law. However, the continued distribution of slanderous movies by the same person fuels animosity among Empress Market residents toward ACF Animal Rescue, a group devoted to helping animals.

We strive relentlessly to offer thorough support to both people and animals, Ayesha Chundrigar said in response to these nasty claims. However, the 10 years of toil we’ve put into improving animal welfare in Pakistan are being jeopardized by one person’s attempts to exploit and misinterpret our programs. Unfortunately, these false accusations have compelled us to halt our rescue efforts for more than 10 days. ACF Animal Rescue has responded by filing a complaint with the FIA and threatening legal action for defamation and damages.

As Pakistan’s first animal refuge, ACF Animal Rescue is committed to easing the suffering of abused street animals. Following the WHO-recommended TNVR program to control the population of street dogs, the group runs an active animal rescue helpline, deploys rescue ambulances for treatment and rehabilitation, and organizes widespread rabies vaccination campaigns.

Additionally, ACF Animal Rescue arranges donkey medical camps where they provide these animals with free medical care, food, and water while educating their owners about basic animal welfare. The Sindh Wildlife Department has given the group permission to cure and rehabilitate wildlife, promoting compassionate education that strengthens the link between people and animals.

Among ACF’s many noteworthy accomplishments is winning the WWF Green Innovation Challenge for creating compassionate donkey harnesses. The founder, Ayesha Chundrigar, has received numerous accolades for her remarkable work, including the HUM Women Leaders Award, recognition as a Hero and Pride of Pakistan at the Pakistan Super League, and recognition on a global scale.

ACF Animal Rescue has saved and helped more over 30,000 animals over the last ten years. A decade of committed work to promote animal rights, provide refuge, and stop animal abuse is undermined by the spread of false information about ACF Animal Rescue. The organization, its founder, and the admirable work they do to improve the lives of both animals and people in underserved and underprivileged places are irreparably damaged by this campaign of vilification.
