Shaheen Shah Afridi Ties the Knot with Ansha Afridi

Shaheen Shah Afridi, Pakistan’s top fast bowler, and Ansha Afridi, the cricket icon Shahid Afridi’s daughter, have been married in a touching ceremony. In Karachi, the nikkah, a serious and private ceremony, was held earlier this year in front of close family members from both households.

The valima is set for September 21 in Islamabad, and this historic event will end in a lavish wedding in Karachi. The pair had been engaged for two years earlier, which signaled the start of their path to a happy marriage.

the left-arm pacer openly confessed his long-held desire to wed Ansha. Shaheen said, blushing, “It was my wish, and Alhumdulillah [thanks to Allah Almighty], it is fulfilled now.”

When questioned if Ansha feels any envy because of his female fan base, the cricketer laughingly replied, “I am not sure, maybe she feels something like that.”

The young bowler’s decision to get engaged at a young age, maybe upsetting some of his female admirers, was further questioned by the host. Shaheen replied with a sincere expression of her feelings, “I found my heart, and that’s enough for me.”

The wedding celebrations have been nothing short of magnificent, including a mehndi ceremony conducted at Afridi’s home with close family and friends in attendance. Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan’s cricket team, as well as past cricketing greats Misbah-ul-Haq, Saeed Anwer, Sohail Khan, and Tanveer Ahmed, attended the Rukhsati (seeing off) ceremony at a local hotel in Karachi.

Shaheen Shah Afridi-Babar Azam

Shaheen, the groom, looked stunning in a pristine white kurta worn with straight pants, accessorized with a golden-embellished prince coat, and finished off with a pair of dark-brown loafers. Babar Azam, on the other hand, was dressed in a navy blue prince coat, matching slacks, and black loafers.

The marriage of Shaheen Shah Afridi and Ansha Afridi, which started with a proposal and developed into a lovely union, is proof of the strong link that exists between cricketing families. They will celebrate their love at their Valima ceremony on September 21 in Islamabad, the nation’s capital.

As she reflected on their trip, Shaheen said, “There wasn’t really a formal first meet-up. We once visited one another’s homes. I would see her whenever they visited our home, and we eventually met at our Nikah. They say you should always be with someone who values you as a person, and thank God I am. She doesn’t participate much, but she has always been there for me.

Fans and well-wishers alike unite in celebrating the uniting of two cricketing dynasties and wish Shaheen and Ansha a lifetime of love and happiness as this cricketing romance ends in marriage.
