Multan Gathers Business and Policy Leaders at ACCA Conference

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) held an important business conference in Multan with the theme “Being Bold: Shaping a Sustainable Future in Uncertain Times” as its focal point. Influential Pakistani businessmen, politicians, and thought leaders came together for this event to discuss important issues like sustainability, ethics, leadership, future-ready talent, and digital transformation.

Prominent business leaders, important officials, and members of the provincial cabinet all attended the conference. In addition to Khusro Mumtaz, Chief Risk Officer at Infra Zamin Pakistan, Walid Iqbal, Member of the Pakistani Senate, Capt. Rtd. Saqib Zafar, Additional Chief Secretary South Punjab, Chaudry Faisal Mushtaq, Chairman & Founder of The Millennium Education, and Rashid Iqbal, President of the Multan Chamber of Commerce, were notable speakers who contributed to discussions on inclusive and sustainable economic development.

In order to build an atmosphere that is supportive of innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly in the context of emerging technologies, ACCA presented insights, practical advice, strategies, and solutions throughout the conference in conjunction with industry and thought leaders. A panel discussion on the future titled “Integrating ESG Principles into Corporate Strategy: Challenges and Opportunities” was one of the highlights. The panel featured Omer Zaheer Meer, Chair MNP, ACCA Pakistan; Zia Ul Mustafa, Chairman Strategic Board, ICMA Pakistan; Talat Javed, Partner at Shine Wing Hameed Chaudry & Co; Omer Beig, COO at Mukhtar A Sheikh Hospital; Prof Dr Muhammad Hassan Bucha, Director at Bahauddin Zakaria University; and Alina Fayyaz Durrani, Regional Business Coordinator at SMEDA.

Masood Textile Mills Limited and TMUC Pakistan served as the event’s Strategic Partners for ACCA, and Mehmood Group served as the Platinum Partner. Professionals’ Academy of Commerce (PAC) and Mukhtar A. Sheikh Hospital joined as Gold Partners, and InfraZamin Pakistan acted as the Strategic Knowledge Partner.
