Mobilink Bank Joins Forces with UN Women Pakistan

An MoU was inked by Mobilink Bank and UN Women Pakistan to promote gender equality and alter the financial system in Pakistan. The VEON group company Mobilink Bank seeks to meet the financial requirements of Pakistani women while advancing financial inclusion and women’s empowerment.

The partnership, which will be in place for a year, aims to improve financial services for women-owned small and micro businesses. In line with their respective missions, Mobilink Bank and UN Women will introduce economic empowerment initiatives with a focus on resolving the funding issues that female entrepreneurs confront.

Mobilink Bank’s COO, Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary, emphasized the bank’s commitment to increasing access to financial services, particularly for women. He mentioned the Women Inspirational Network (WIN) program’s accomplishments, which have benefited over 2,500 women.

The partnership’s compatibility with UN Women Pakistan’s mission to advance gender equality and women’s economic inclusion was lauded by Ms. Sharmeela Rassool, the organization’s country representative.

Mobilink Bank is a pioneer in encouraging financial inclusion and works with like-minded groups to increase its impact through digital financial services, financial literacy efforts, and empowerment programs.

Leveraging Mobilink Bank’s digital competence and UN Women’s dedication to women’s empowerment, this partnership represents a significant step towards gender equality and economic development in Pakistan. Together, they want to narrow the gender gap in financial inclusion and open up chances for female entrepreneurs.
