Cheezious Shines Bright at Naqsh Digital Film Festival 2023

The amazing film festival Naqsh Digital Film Festival, which celebrates innovation and raises awareness of societal issues, just wrapped off a fruitful run in Islamabad. organized in association with Fatima Jinnah Women University and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Cheezious, one of the festival’s food partners, was instrumental in making this event feasible and furthering the goals and success of the festival.

In addition to showcasing the abilities of up-and-coming filmmakers, this festival focused on important subjects like digital innovation, women’s empowerment, Pakistan as a travel destination, peace, tolerance, and environmental sustainability.

The difficult duty of assessing and honoring exceptional entries fell to our distinguished visitor, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi, and our esteemed panel of judges, which included well-known names from the entertainment and film industries. Mr. Sajjad Gul Sajji, Mr. Pervaiz Akhtar, Mr. Sajid Munir, Ms. Amna Kazmi, Dr. Ahmer Sohail Busra, Ms. Nergis Hashmi, Mr. Shahzad Nawaz, and Ms. Kanwal Khoosat were among the judges. Their combined knowledge and perception made it easier to choose the top contributions.

A total of one million rupees in cash prizes were given to the winners in several categories of the Naqsh Digital Film Festival as a way to encourage and recognize the outstanding skills on display. Best Film, Best Documentary, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Film Standee, and Best Documentary Series were among these categories.

“Cheezious played an integral part in making this festival a resounding success, demonstrating its commitment to support the arts and cultural endeavors within Pakistan,” stated Zohaib Hassan, Head of Marketing.

The Naqsh Digital Film Festival is proof of the ability of film and narrative to promote creativity and address important social issues. It has given up-and-coming filmmakers a stage on which to display their abilities while tackling significant issues that are pertinent to both the country and the globe.
