Pakistan’s top microfinance bank, Khushhali Microfinance Bank Limited (KMBL), had a very successful fiscal year in 2023. With the help of a dedicated call center, their recently formed recovery section exceeded expectations by gathering almost PKR 1 billion in write-offs. This, combined with reaching their PKR 101 billion deposit goal, demonstrated KMBL’s tenacity and dedication to its clients.
Particularly noteworthy is the remarkable growth in deposits, of which 90% came from private depositors. This demonstrates the solid foundation of trust KMBL has established with its community, enhancing its standing as a trustworthy financial partner.
Aameer Karachiwalla, President & CEO of KMBL, presided over an internal ceremony to commemorate these accomplishments. He emphasized the team’s good influence on numerous lives and praised their efforts.
