A high-level delegation from China Mobile Communications Group (CMCC) and China Mobile Pakistan (CMPak) recently met with Pakistan’s telecom authority, the PTA. The purpose of the visit was to discuss potential collaboration and explore growth opportunities within the Pakistani telecom sector.
During the meeting, Chairman PTA, Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman, briefed the delegation on Pakistan’s telecom sector achievements. He was joined by Member Finance (PTA) Mr. Muhammad Naveed and Member Compliance & Enforcement (PTA), Dr. Khawar Sidique Khokhar, who provided further insights on the sector’s landscape.
Representing CMCC and CMPak, Mr. Tong Tengfei, Group Leader of Discipline Inspection and Supervision, and Mr. Huo Junli, Chairman and CEO of CMPak, engaged in discussions about the sector’s growth potential and areas of mutual benefit.
This meeting fostered an environment for collaboration and knowledge sharing as both parties explored advancements in the ever-evolving telecommunications industry.
