An iconic Pakistani fast-food chain, Cheezious, is celebrating Independence Day with a green effort. Cheezious is initiating a national plantation initiative in association with the Punjab Horticultural Authority and the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

With this ambitious project, we hope to improve the environment and make Pakistan greener. Cheezious will place branded booths with free plants for the public in Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar. Campaign centerpiece would be a special kiosk located at Cheezious’ F-7 branch in Islamabad.

The employees of the fast-food restaurant, who are also its brand ambassadors, will take an active part in planting seeds and interacting with the neighborhood. Cheezious’ Head of Marketing, Zohaib Hassan, highlights the company’s dedication to environmental responsibility and its aim to motivate others with this program.

The goal of Cheezious’ partnership with CDA and the Punjab Horticultural Authority is to have a long-lasting effect on the environment. A major step toward achieving Cheezious’ larger goal of a sustainable future for Pakistan is this plantation drive.
