Pakistani TikTok sensation Samiya Hijab, a 23-year-old influencer known for her lively dance and lifestyle content, has found herself embroiled in a controversy surrounding a viral video that she asserts is “fake” and “AI-generated.”
In a candid video statement shared across her social media channels, Samiya firmly denied any connection to the circulating clip, accusing her ex-boyfriend of orchestrating a malicious campaign to damage her reputation.
“I completely deny this video and have nothing to do with it. My character is being deliberately targeted to harm my standing on social media,” Samiya stated, addressing her millions of followers.
She claimed that the video, which has ignited considerable online discussion, was fabricated using artificial intelligence technology as a result of personal vendetta. “This content has been made viral by my ex-boyfriend out of personal enmity and revenge,” she added, urging her fans not to believe the “false and baseless” material.
Determined to seek justice, Samiya announced her plans to take legal action. She intends to file a formal complaint with Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing to investigate the origins of the video and hold those responsible accountable. “I will take up the matter legally and will soon file a complaint with the FIA Cyber Crime Wing,” she affirmed, demonstrating her commitment to confronting the defamation head-on.
Samiya is not alone in facing such leaked scandals; numerous celebrities, from prominent screenwriters like Khalil-ur-Rehman to TikTokers such as Minahil Malik, have also been victims of this pervasive issue of cybercrime that continues to plague society.
