Easypaisa Facilitates Rs107 Million in Donations During Ramazan 2025, Marks 18% Growth

Easypaisa, one of Pakistan’s leading digital banks, has reported a significant achievement during Ramazan 2025 by facilitating over Rs107 million in donations through its platform, reflecting an 18% year-on-year growth from 2024. The initiative, part of its annual Ramazan campaign, reinforces the bank’s commitment to making financial contributions more accessible, secure, and impactful for Pakistanis across the country.

To further amplify the spirit of giving, Easypaisa pledged to contribute Rs1 for every Rs20 donated through the app, adding Rs5.3 million from its own side to support various charitable causes. This strategic boost helped foster deeper engagement and trust among users during the holy month.

With over 360,000 donation-related transactions—a 34% increase YoY—Easypaisa’s platform connected donors with 50+ verified charitable partners, including some of Pakistan’s most reputable names such as the Edhi Foundation, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, Al Khidmat Foundation, Indus Hospital, and Maulana Tariq Jameel Foundation.

Commenting on the milestone, Farhan Hassan, Head of Wallet Business at Easypaisa, said that enabling seamless donations through the app aligns with the bank’s core mission of simplifying financial transactions for everyone. He emphasized that the success of this campaign showcases how digital tools can empower millions and drive real social impact.

Hani Haider, Executive Director of Growth & Analytics, highlighted how secure and simple giving via the platform continues to foster loyalty among users, with donations becoming a key lever of growth for Easypaisa.

Easypaisa’s growing influence in Pakistan’s financial ecosystem is evident. With over 50 million registered users—including a 31% female user base—and 2.8 billion transactions processed in 2024 worth Rs9.7 trillion (nearly 9% of Pakistan’s GDP), the platform remains at the forefront of digital transformation and financial inclusion in the country.

The success of this year’s Ramazan donation campaign not only illustrates Easypaisa’s scale but also its ability to channel collective generosity into meaningful, measurable change.
