Foodpanda Celebrates Rider Safety & Health Week

foodpanda Pakistan recently wrapped up its highly successful Rider Safety & Health Week, a nationwide initiative aimed at celebrating and safeguarding the well-being of its rider community. The week was packed with impactful collaborations, hands-on training, and giveaways — reaffirming foodpanda’s commitment to the heroes behind every doorstep delivery.

The campaign kicked off with a powerful road safety video featuring automotive expert Suneel Munj, shared across PakWheels’ social platforms. This was followed by a live session at foodpanda’s Lahore office, where Suneel gave riders practical safety insights. The collaboration between foodpanda and PakWheels also included digital promotions and targeted safety tips for riders.

foodpanda partnered with Atlas Honda for a specialized road safety workshop for over 50 riders, while WASL offered easy bike upgrade plans to boost performance and safety. KAACIB provided critical bike maintenance services and rolled out discounted home services like electrical work, plumbing, and appliance repair, tailored specifically for riders.

To support smoother and safer rides, Action Oils distributed free engine oils and filters, and Qist Bazaar gifted over 50 AirPods while offering discounted product installment plans to riders — all launched during a high-engagement 3-day expo.

In Karachi, foodpanda joined hands with the Karachi Traffic Police to deliver a detailed training session led by DIG Traffic Syed Pir Muhammad Shah and Trainer Inspector M. Sohail. Topics covered included traffic laws, safe vehicle handling, and defensive driving practices.

Health was another key focus. A two-day health camp was set up at foodpanda’s Karachi Head Office with support from over 10 medical partners including Chughtai Lab, PharmEvo, and Haleon, offering free checkups, tests, and health kits to more than 100 riders and staff.

Over 2,000 reflective stickers were also distributed to improve night-time bike visibility — a simple yet effective move toward safer deliveries.

foodpanda’s Rider Safety & Health Week reflects a broader mission: to ensure riders feel valued, protected, and empowered — not just on the road, but in life. Through thoughtful partnerships, educational sessions, and health resources, the company continues to create a stronger, more responsible delivery ecosystem across Pakistan.
