Zindigi and Walls Go Digital to Empower Ice Cream Trike Vendors

In a bold step toward financial inclusion and digital transformation, Zindigi, powered by JS Bank, has signed a strategic MoU with Walls Pakistan to introduce a cashless payment system for its iconic ice cream trikes across the country.

The partnership aims to empower small-scale vendors by equipping Walls trike riders with Zindigi’s QR-based digital payment solution, making daily transactions simpler, faster, and more secure. With thousands of trike riders operating in both urban and rural areas, this collaboration is set to bring tangible improvements to how ice cream vendors collect and manage payments.

At the signing ceremony in Karachi, Atif Ishaque, Chief Business Officer at Zindigi, highlighted the platform’s commitment to creating inclusive, tech-forward financial solutions that reach even the most grassroots level. He noted the partnership as a major milestone in reducing cash dependency and supporting real-time, secure digital transactions.

Mr. Kayhan, General Manager at Walls Pakistan, emphasized the importance of empowering their mobile sales force with digital tools, stating that this initiative not only adds convenience and security but also helps in enhancing financial literacy among riders.

This digital move aligns with the broader national vision of a cashless Pakistan, where fintech and FMCG sectors join forces to uplift micro-entrepreneurs. The collaboration between Zindigi and Walls doesn’t just modernize the traditional ice cream trike—it sets the stage for a smarter, more inclusive retail future.
