Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) has stepped up its commitment to Pakistan with the conclusion of a four-day B2B roadshow held in Karachi and Islamabad. The initiative showcased Saudi Arabia’s growing Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) offerings alongside new destination experiences, creating fresh opportunities for collaboration between the two countries’ travel and business sectors.
The roadshow connected Saudi stakeholders including top hotels, destination management companies, airlines, and transport providers with leading Pakistani trade partners. Through B2B matchmaking and networking sessions, the event highlighted Saudi’s position as a rising global hub for MICE tourism, supported by world-class convention centers, futuristic venues, and advanced infrastructure.
Beyond business tourism, Saudi presented its diverse leisure portfolio—ranging from the heritage and culture of AlUla to the vibrancy of Riyadh and Jeddah, as well as the natural landscapes of Abha, Taif, and AlBaha. Major entertainment and lifestyle events such as MDL Beast and Riyadh Season were also spotlighted, showcasing how Saudi blends business with cultural discovery.
To encourage immediate bookings, the delegation launched exclusive promotions including summer deals, early-bird discounts on AlUla tours, and tailored packages for leisure and group travel. Key participants included Saudia Airlines, FlyADeal, the Haramain Train, Aroya Cruise, Qiddiya, and leading Saudi DMCs and hotel groups.
This successful roadshow reaffirms Saudi’s long-term vision for Pakistan by offering integrated travel solutions that combine MICE, leisure, and cultural experiences. Pakistani travelers and businesses can now explore Saudi’s dynamic destinations and events with enhanced connectivity and tailored packages.
