TikTok Prioritizes Mental Health and Combats Cyberbullying

TikTok is taking a stand against mental health stigma and cyberbullying this October. As part of World Mental Health Day and National Cyber Bullying Awareness Month, the platform has partnered with Headspace to offer free access to its meditation and mindfulness app to 20,000 creators worldwide, including Pakistani creators.

The #MentalHealthAwareness – Better Together campaign aims to promote open conversations about mental health, digital literacy, and a safer online space. TikTok recognizes the importance of mental health in the workplace and beyond, and is committed to fostering a supportive environment for all users.

In addition to the Headspace partnership, TikTok is also working with local organizations in Pakistan to provide users with easy access to mental health experts. The platform has integrated with Digital Rights Foundation, Oladoc, Marham, and other NPO partners to offer resources and tools to report and prevent bullying.

By joining the conversation and using the hashtags #MentalHealthAwareness, #MentalHealthAtWork, #DigitalHifazat, and #SelfCare, users can connect with others, share their experiences, and access valuable resources and information. TikTok encourages its community to prioritize their well-being and create a safer, more inclusive online space.
