This industry first product allows customers to get discounts of up to 20% on healthcare expenses by paying through JazzCash Quick Response (QR).

Jazz continuously looks for ways to digitize payment processes and looks for partners like Medicount that prioritize customer ease-of-use. Chief MFS and Digital Officer at Jazz, Aamer Ejaz said, “We have a great ambition to roll this product out to other health care providers nationwide.  The idea is to gradually implement a cashless culture, which promotes convenience and safety in financial transactions online.”

“Healthpass is a free digital platform that supports all Pakistanis from all backgrounds, to improve health expenditure management. It also allows its consumers to find quality healthcare services nearby; pay using JazzCash and earn instant discounts on every medical payment,” said Saira Faysal, CEO at Healthpass.

This special feature of the application frees up the consumers from the need to have physical cash readily available in their wallets. Moreover, using JazzCash guarantees them a lower cost. The medical bill is automatically deducted from JazzCash users’ mobile wallets once they scan the QR code.

Jazz looks to revolutionize the healthcare payments segment for the benefit of millions, which shall also grow the cashless payment channels available today. JazzCash aims to provide customized solutions and digitize payments for users to enable convenience and security. The MFS provider has also digitized multiple verticals including education, utility bill payments, government payments and well established e-commerce services’ payments.
