A UK Businessman Donated £100,000 to Imran Khan's Flood Relief Campaign

Royal Nawaab’s owner and CEO, Mohammed Waqaas, has congratulated former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former premier Imran Khan for complimenting and honouring the famed Asian restaurant’s donation of £100,000 in the United Kingdom. Royal Nawaab became the highest contributor and donor from overseas with a generous donation of £100,000 to help flood victims as Imran Khan organised an international telethon to solicit cash from within the country and overseas Pakistanis for the flood victims.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed gratitude to Royal Nawaab founder Mehboob Hussain, who joined Khan’s telethon from London and announced a donation of £100000 to the relief fund. A beaming Imran Khan introduced Mehboob Hussain of Royal Nawaab to millions of viewers when Mr Hussain revealed a £100,000 donation and then informed Imran Khan that he and his family had always supported his philanthropic efforts, stood by him, and will continue to stand by him at all times.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed millions of people and supporters that he was grateful to Mehboob Hussain and was “proud” of him. People like Mehboob Hussain, he says, leave Pakistan to work overseas, working more than 16 hours a day to establish their enterprises and assets from the ground up.

“Mehboob Hussain operates a wonderful franchise of enterprises in the UK,” remarked former Prime Minister Imran Khan. I’ve known him for quite some time. He rose from obscurity to establish a tremendously profitable firm. His heart belongs to Pakistan. He has always supported NAMAL College and Shaukat Khanum Hospital, and he now considers the PTI to be a comparable cause.”

Imran Khan joked that this was how “foreign finance” looked. “This is referred to as foreign money.” Thank you so much, Mehboob.”Mohammed Waqaas, the owner and CEO of Royal Nawaab, came to Twitter to thank Imran Khan for the appreciation he had showered on his father for his work. Mohammed Waqaas stated, “We have contributed £100000 to Imran Khan’s telethon to support flood victims in Pakistan.”

Thank you, Imran Khan, for recognizing and applauding my father, Mehboob Hussain, and his hard work in the UK in creating our business network.” According to Senator Faisal Javed Khan, who chaired the event, the former prime minister raised more over Rs5 billion in donations during a three-hour flood telethon. Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chief ministers — Pervaiz Elahi and Mahmood Khan — previous premier’s ex-assistant on social protection Sania Nishtar, celebrities, and other politicians took part in Imran Khan’s telethon.

The floods caused by back-to-back monsoon rains, according to the PTI head, have impacted the entire country. He stated that more than 1000 people perished as a result of the disastrous floods, and that the damages are estimated to exceed Rs1,000 billion. He stated that the country would need to build more dams in the future to protect people from similar disaster. “The only approach to preventing flood-related disasters is to build dams.”
