JAZZ has been given permission by Pakistan’s telecoms regulator, PTA, to test a brand-new messaging software named BIP. According to sources, JAZZ has been granted temporary authorization to test BIP communication technologies for a two-month trial term starting on March 15, 2023.
An easy-to-use, free communication software called BIP provides phone and video chats of excellent quality, as well as channels for cuisine, sports, entertainment, and fashion. It also provides quick and secure messaging. There are currently 192 million users using it worldwide.
After passing stringent security clearance tests, JAZZ was given authorization to test BIP. Following the trials, JAZZ SIM cards will be connected to the BIP app. The trials have also been made known to other mobile phone companies.
The experiments, according to PTA representatives, are intended to promote innovative technologies and enhance indoor network connectivity. The app will automatically route calls to Wi-Fi if there is strong internet connectivity in locations with poor or nonexistent mobile service.
Calls can only be placed within the JAZZ intra-network, and the trials will be non-exclusive and temporary in nature. The trials will comply completely to PTA guidelines. PTA systems, including DIRBS, will be specifically protected, and all essential precautions will be taken.
The trial represents a big advancement for JAZZ, one of the top mobile phone providers in Pakistan. The BIP app is anticipated to enhance user experience and provide consumers with a fresh means of communication. Users are anticipated to enjoy the app’s features like discovery channels and user-friendly UI.
