Mobilink Bank, Pakistan’s largest digital microfinance institution, has announced a strategic partnership with Fatima Fertilizer, a major player in the country’s agricultural sector. This collaboration is set to digitally transform the lives of farmers across Pakistan by providing improved access to financial tools and services, helping boost the agri-economy through innovation and inclusivity.
The partnership brings together Mobilink Bank’s robust digital financial services with Fatima Fertilizer’s extensive grassroots network via their Sarsabz Pakistan platform. At the heart of the collaboration is the seamless integration of Mobilink Bank’s Dost App with Sarsabz Pakistan, offering farmers and agri-based SMEs access to tailor-made financial products, including tubewell financing, input loans, passbook financing, and full digital banking solutions.
This digital leap aims to simplify access to critical finance for underserved rural communities, promoting not just lending but also long-term socio-economic growth. Mobilink Bank and Fatima Fertilizer will also focus on financial literacy, enabling farmers to make informed financial decisions through both digital outreach and on-ground events. Joint farmer meetups will help educate and engage local communities on adopting financial tools to manage their agricultural needs more effectively.
Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary, President and CEO of Mobilink Bank, emphasized the importance of this initiative, calling it “a leap toward building a future-ready, digitally inclusive agri-ecosystem.” Similarly, Asad Murad, COO of Fatima Fertilizer, highlighted the shared vision of strengthening rural communities through innovative collaboration.
With this move, both organizations are stepping beyond traditional service delivery, aiming to drive broader financial inclusion and entrepreneurship development in rural Pakistan. The partnership marks a significant stride in bridging the financial gap for farmers and fostering resilience in the country’s agricultural sector.
