TikTok and HBL PSL Team up again for HBL PSL 8

The most coveted T20 cricket competition in the world, the HBL PSL 8, has TikTok back as its Official Entertainment Partner. For the month-long event, which will take place in Multan, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore, the platform will bring the cricket community together. TikTok, which has more than one billion members worldwide, gives fans the chance to interact with the competition and produce content. During the previous year’s partnership, there were 2.3 million videos made with the hashtag #KhelegaPakistan that had 2.5 billion views.

The cooperation, which is now in its second season, promises to be even larger and better this year. Under the hashtags #HoJaJazbaati and #SabSitarayHumaray, there will be engaging material and cricket-related challenges. According to TikTok’s Head of Content Operations and Marketing for Pakistan, Saif Mujahid, the platform is eager to share the energy and passion of the HBL PSL with its audience and aspires to become the hub of fandom for all sports in Pakistan, not just cricket.

“As the official Entertainment Partner of the HBL PSL 8, we are pleased to offer the enthusiasm and passion of this wonderful event to our TikTok audience for another season,” said Saif Mujahid, Head of Content Operations and Marketing, Pakistan at TikTok. In the past two years, TikTok has developed into a thriving centre for sports material. It fosters amazing, previously unseen sporting footage while allowing creators to revisit and remix some of the greatest sporting moments.

The relationship, according to PCB Chairman Najam Sethi, would enable the league reach a wider audience and interact more authentically with the broad online community that has supported it since the league’s inception. TikTok has transformed how fans enjoy sports and entertainment by bringing together communities via a common passion for teams, athletes, and sports. TikTok offers a novel and imaginative method for sports fans to watch live athletic events with its full-screen, sound-on experience.
