Nokia’s former CEO, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo is still getting used to the lack of stress of heading a multi-national company, where despite working 12-hour days and not taking holidays, he presided over a notable diminishment in the company’s lead in the high-end handset market.

Speaking to Helsingin Sanomat, he also noted that he kept a prototype Nokia E7 smartphone when he was suddenly sacked in September and replaced by a former Microsoft executive.

He cannot comment on Nokia in any way though, having been silenced by a confidentiality agreement when he left the company. Despite his ignominious exit from the company he had worked at for nearly 30 years, he has received several offers to take charge at other companies, although it seems that at the moment, he is enjoying being out of the rat-race. For the moment.

He has no plans to buy an Apple iPhone.
